Conservation Actions In-Place
This species is known from the Shenguozhuang National Nature Reserve. This species is not currently protected by national legislation.
Conservation Needed
Continued and strengthened management of protected area(s) where this species occurs, and expanded protection of forest elsewhere in its range is needed. There is a need to better manage grazing and farming activities both in and around the protected areas, as well as throughout this species' range (B. Wang pers. comm. June 2019).
Research Needed
More information is needed on this species' distribution, population status, ecology, and threats. There is a need for monitoring the population status of this species given the threats of subsistence wood collection, grazing activities, and road construction throughout the species' range.
