Habitat:
This species inhabits arboreal microhabitats in lower montane and lowland forests. It has also been recorded from some disturbed areas adjacent to forests. It lays its eggs on leaves, and is a direct developer. It will tolerate some habitat disturbance, but will not tolerate the removal of forest cover (A. Diesmos pers. comm. March 2018).

Range:
This species occurs on Luzon, Leyte, Samar, Mindanao, Bohol, and Siquijor, in the Philippines where it occurs between 0–2,000 m asl (A. Diesmos pers. comm. March 2018). It is expected to occur more widely than currently mapped (A. Diesmos pers. comm. March 2018).
