Habitat:
Inhabits deserts on the NE coast of Aral Sea. There are insufficient data on the biology of the species. Nursing colonies were found in clay constructions.
Range:
This taxon is distributed in NW Kazakhstan, and to the north of Aral Sea (Strelkov 1980, Strelkov and Shaimardanov 1983). It is also reported from Iran (Benda and Reiter 2006).
Conservation:
None in place. More research is needed to determine population status and trends.
