Habitat:
This species is associated with watercourses surrounded by melaleuca and pandanus, gallery forest or Livistona palms (Churchill et al. 2008) generally in rocky escarpment areas.
Range:
This species is endemic to northern Australia, where it is found in northern Western Australia, northern Northern Territory, and at Lawn Hill Gorge, Queensland.
Conservation:
The species has been recorded from a number of protected areas.
