Habitat:
The habitats of this species are not known, however, it may occur in coastal plains (Hutterer 2005).

Range:
It occurs in the southern Arabian Peninsula, specifically in Yemen and Oman, including the exclave of Musandam, which is separated from the rest of Oman by the United Arab Emirates.

Conservation:
In a preliminary status of the terrestrial mammals of Oman, the species was considered Data Deficient (Fisher 1999). There are no known specific conservation measures for this species.
