Habitat:
Relatively little is known about this species. It inhabits primary forest on a lowland plateau at an elevation of around 750 m asl. Forest in the area of distribution is still abundant. This species has been recorded along creeks and on fallow land. It has also occasionally been found in secondary forest.

Range:
This species is known from four localities in the Democratic Republic of Congo, including Kisangani, Masako Forest, and a locality 2 km west of the Epulu Forest. It is also found on Kungulu Island (Katuala pers. comm.).

Conservation:
It is present within the Ituri Forest National Park. Further general studies are needed into the distribution of this little-known species.
