Habitat:
This little known species is associated with montane tropical moist forest.
Range:
This species is known from the mountains of western Kenya and northeastern Tanzania. It is possibly present in Uganda. It occurs at elevations above 1,000 m asl. Approximately seven localities have been recorded including Mount Elgon in Kenya.
Conservation:
This species occurs within Mount Elgon National Park. There is a need to effectively protect additional areas of suitable montane forest for this species. Further field surveys are needed to better determine the limits of the species distribution.
