Habitat:
Little is known about the habitat and ecology of this species. Three specimens were collected in high elevation primary forest.
Range:
This species is endemic to the Philippines where it is known only from Mindoro where it is thought to only occupy high elevations on Mt. Halcon (Esselstyn and Goodman 2010; Esselstyn et al. 2011).
Conservation:
More surveys are needed on Mindoro to find new information about the species' populations, habitat preferences, threats and conservation needs. It is not known whether or not it occurs in any protected areas.
