Habitat:
It has been found in wet farmland, banks of irrigation canals, and empty wells (Aulagnier et al. 2009).

Range:
Only two specimens of Crocidura religiosa are known and these were collected from the neck of the Nile delta and further down the Nile. Mummified specimens have also been found further south.

Conservation:
There are no known conservation actions in place for this species. More research is required to gather data on the status of the population, range, ecology, and potential threats to the species.
