Habitat:
This species occurs in montane forest, savanna, bush, grassland and coastal forest. It appears to tolerate a wide range of habitats.

Range:
This southern African species is present in Zimbabwe, southern Mozambique, South Africa and Swaziland, and might be present in parts of Lesotho, Botswana, southern Malawi, Zambia and Angola, although this requires confirmation.

Conservation:
This species has been recorded from a number of protected areas including Kruger National Park, South Africa. Additional studies are needed into the distribution and natural history of this species.
