Habitat:
It can be found in pine, mixed pine, and oak forests in highland areas (Hutterer 2005). There is no information concerning its biology or ecology.

Range:
This species occurs in South- Central Honduras (Reid 2009). Specifically, it has been found from the western highlands associated with Cerro Oyuca and El Picacho, in the Fransciso Morazan Dept. of Honduras (Woodman and Tim 1992; Woodman 2015) as well as to the the east of Tegucigalpa, Honduras and possibly in adjacent regions of Guatemala and El Salvador. This species is currently only known in 3 localities at 1,700 m asl (Reid 1997).

Conservation:
This species occurs in two protected areas; La Tigra National Park and El Uyuco Reserve.
