Habitat:
Little is known about this species, but it has been found in flooded Marshland in central Brazil, and there is some evidence that it prefers semi-mountainous areas near coasts (Lacher 2016).

Range:
This species occurs in the coastal areas of southeastern Brazil from Minas Gerais to Santa Catarina (Lacher 2016).

Conservation:
There are some national and state reserves within its range, but there are no known records within these areas. More research is needed on taxonomy for this species.
