Habitat:
The is no information about the habitat preferences and ecology of this species (Bidau 2015).

Range:
The type locality, and the site of the only known report, of this species was originally thought to be in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Today this location is believed to correspond with Minas, Lavalleja, Uruguay, which was considered under Brazilian rule in the early 1800’s. The range of this species is uncertain (Bidau 2015). This species has a small range in a human-dominated region.

It is not known which, if any, conservation measures are needed in order to protect this species; further research is needed.
