Habitat:
Ecology and habitat requirement information for this species is lacking. It is thought to exhibit burrowing behavior (Bidau 2015).

Range:
This species occurs in western Argentina, east of the Andes in San Luis and Mendoza Provinces (Woods and Kilpatrick 2005). It is only known from the type locality near San Rafael (Ojeda pers. comm.). Bidau (2015) notes that there has been debate over the type locality of this species and states that it is known only from Mendoza province, Argentina.

Conservation:
There is no information available about any conservation measures being made to protect this species. Further research is necessary to clarify the true status of this species.
