Habitat:
It appears to be restricted to lower montane forest and to upper dipterocarp forest. It is active in small and medium-sized trees, feeding on fruits and black ants.

Range:
This species is found in north east Borneo at middle elevations (Payne et al. 1985).

Conservation:
It is not known if the species is present in any protected areas. Further studies are needed into the distribution, abundance, reproduction and ecology of this species.
