An introduction has been reported from an area near Our Lucaya on Grand Bahama (Losos 2012) and from Abaco also in the Bahamas (Losos 2017). Further recent introductions have been reported from other Caribbean Islands, including Turks & Caicos, Grand Cayman and "many other islands" (Losos 2017). It has been recorded up to nearly 1,000 m (Henderson and Powell 2009).
