Habitat:
The type locality lies in a transition zone between tropical deciduous forest and pine-oak forest.

Range:
This species is known only from the type specimen, collected from Puerto los Masos in southwest of Autlan de Navarro, southern Jalisco, Mexico.

Conservation:
The species is known from only one specimen; the type locality lies within Sierra de Manantlan Biosphere Reserve. Further research is needed to determine the range, population status, ecology and threats to this species.
