Offline Allophryne ruthveni Ruthven’s frog -----
The Family Allophrynidae is a small group of frogs within the order Anura, primarily found in Central and South America. These frogs are arboreal, living in tropical rainforests, and are typically nocturnal. Members of Allophrynidae have adaptations for climbing, such as expanded toe pads and slender limbs. They are insectivorous, feeding on small invertebrates, and exhibit direct development or aquatic larval stages, depending on the species. Due to their restricted ranges and specialized habitats, some species in this family are considered vulnerable, making them of interest in studies of conservation and rainforest ecology.
