Habitat:
This species is omnivorous. It is found in hollow trees on forests and sulphur mines.

Range:
Tonatia bidens is known from northeastern Brazil to northern Argentina and Paraguay (Simmons 2005), but recent records extend its distribution to northeastern Bolivia (Paca et al. 2012).
