Habitat:
It is associated with caves in limestone areas, the species can occur in primary forest, disturbed and fragmented areas, including agricultural areas (S. Bumrungsri, P. Bates and V. Thong pers. comm.).

Range:
This species is found in Yunnan, China (Smith et al. 2008), extending to Myanmar, Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia (Perlis, Pahang), and Viet Nam (reported from Cat Tien National Park, South Vietnam, Karst Areas in Northern Vietnam V. Thong pers. comm.). It can be expected in northern Lao PDR, but this has not been confirmed.

Conservation:
It is known to occur in some protected areas.
