Habitat:
Data on the species ecology and habitat use is limited. This species usually roosts in natural caves.
Range:
This species has a wide distribution in Southern China, including the type locality, Nguluko, Yunnan (Sanborn 1939), and other localities in Yunnan, Guizhou and Hunan provinces (Sun et al. pers. comm.). It has been also discovered in Hoang Lien National Park of Vietnam.
Conservation:
The species is known to be present in Hoang Lien National Park of Vietnam.Conservation and research actions are needed including protecting and managing known roosts, clarifying the species taxonomy, and research into the species population, life history, ecology and threats.
